This is a delightful tour visiting the beautiful Dal Lakes and Mughal gardens in Srinagar. Take a Gondola ride high into the mountains, or trek up to Khilanmarg. Visit the saffron fields of Pampore to see the world most expensive spice and walk the pony trials enjoying the finest of mountain views.

Day 1 To Srinagar
Morning depart Delhi Domestic Airport for Srinagar. Upon arrival transfer to deluxe Houseboat or Hotel for 3 nights stay. (Please state preference on the booking form) After lunch, on a traditional ‘Shikara’, visit the floating gardens and glimpse the unique lifestyle of the Lake people.

Day 2 Srinagar
Morning visit to the celebrated Mughal Gardens on the shores of the Dal Lake. Framed by the Zabarwan Hills the gardens are a wonderful testimony to the creative genius of the Mughal Emperors. Visits include the ‘Shalimar’ built by Shah Jehangir for his Empress Nur Jahan. After lunch visit a carpet factory to see the ancient craft. Remainder of day to relax.

Day 3 Excursion to Gulmarg
Full Full day excursion to Gulmarg. A 2 ½ hour journey will transport you to ‘The Meadow of Flowers’. At 2730 meters, the air is clear and the views fabulous - on a clear day, you can see Nanga Parbat. Take a spectacular Gondola ride to the high slopes or trek up to Khilanmarg. Alternatively optional round of golf – please ask for details –. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Day 4 To Pahalgam
Drive to ‘The Valley of Shepard’s’. The 3-hour journey goes via the Saffron Fields of Pampore and ruins of the 1100-year-old Awantipura Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Check into the Hotel for 2 nights. After lunch, walk along the pony trails to see the magnificent scenery. Optional Pony trek. (Please ask for details).

Day 5 Pahalgam
Day at leisure to enjoy the beauty of the area.

Day 6 To Srinagar
After breakfast, drive through the lovely countryside back to Srinagar. Overnight at deluxe Houseboat/Hotel. Afternoon at leisure perhaps to explore the Lake or relax on the veranda of the boat.

Day 7 To Delhi
After breakfast transfer to the airport for return flight to Delhi.
